We hosted a visit of summer interns from an environmental school in New York City. We showed them a few rattlesnakes and they were able to watch us release a nuisance snake which we had picked up the day before. They had never seen rattlesnakes before and were excited about seeing some up close in the wild. It was also fun for them to watch us handle the snake as we released it. On the hike back they helped clear some trails.
